The European Network for Scientific Research in Organic Farming (ENOF) is an initiative that was funded by the European Commission and managed by the Directorate-General of Agriculture (DG VI).
It aims to ""put in contact and establish collaborations between the Organisms or European Entities that work on Education, Research, Experimentation, Demonstration or Diffusion of Organic Farming Techniques.""
This site provides information on ENOF, its organisation, meetings, aims and activities. ENOF has produced a White Book which analyses the state of European research on organic farming, and this is available online in PDF format (requiring Adobe Acrobat Reader). ENOF have also created a database of organic research in Europe and this can be accessed online by anyone involved in research in organic farming or belonging to a library or an official body. This database is password-protected, but a password can be obtained by emailing the site and outlining your particular interest in consulting the database. A collection of links to useful Web site is available.
